Buying Stockings for a Gift

When my fiancé and I decided to get engaged a few months ago, I had so many things to do. I had no idea how much work planning a wedding actually was. Between ordering the flowers and deciding on what type of food to serve to our guests, the last thing I wanted to do was run all over town to pick out gifts for my bridesmaids. I explained my dilemma to my future mother-in-law and she suggested that I get each of them new hosiery.

At first, I was not too thrilled about the idea, but then she reminded me that my bridesmaids could then wear them with their dresses at the wedding. What she said was starting to make a lot of sense. After all, my bridesmaids did have to pay for their own dresses and shoes -- why not get them some nice pantyhose to go with their formal dresses? It was the least I could do besides getting them just jewelry to wear with their formal dresses.

I knew that my future mother-in-law had the right idea after seeing all the beautiful hosiery on the site. I knew then that I wanted all five of my bridesmaids to feel just as beautiful as I would on my wedding day, and what a better way to do that then by giving them these luxurious silk stockings. I ordered them each a pair of Cervin Champs Elysees silk stockings in a tan color.

The day of my bridal shower, I gave each one of my bridesmaids the silk stockings and the jewelry. All of my wedding attendants loved the hosiery and were impressed on the quality of each pair. They all had big smiles as they opened them and kept on telling my what a great idea the tights were. My future mother-in-law just smiled and winked at me as each one of my friends thanked me for such a thoughtful gift and on how unique and yet personal it was to remember that they all wanted to look and feel beautiful on that day.

The day of my wedding as each one of my bridesmaids walked down the aisle, they all looked wonderful in their pantyhose. I could tell by the looks on all of their faces as I walked down the isle, that they all felt as beautiful as I did.

Buying Silk Stockings

I was working a lot of late hours and traveling quite a bit for work. I was only able to spend a small amount of time with my wife a week. This was not going over well at all with her. The time we did get to spend together was usually spent in front of the television watching the news. I promised her that when things had slowed down in a few weeks with work I would take her out to a romantic dinner. The weeks came and went, and still I did not have enough time off work to take her to dinner.

My wife decided to give me the cold shoulder at home -- and quite rightly, too. I tried everything from sending her dozens of roses to bringing her chocolates. Nothing worked. I was in the doghouse and none of the baubles I bought her seemed to appease her. I needed something to get me back in her good graces. I needed the ultimate romantic gift for her.

A friend at the office said that he and his wife had been having the same problem until her started buying her silk stockings. At this rate I told him that I would try anything. He gave me some more pointers and said that I should just have them sent to her through the post. He assured me that his wife loved the surprise of getting new silk stockings every few weeks and it had brought back the romance in their marriage.

I quickly got on the computer and started searching for some silk stockings. I could not get over how many styles there were. It was a bit overwhelming at first with all the choices. After all, I really do not know that much about hosiery for women. So, I decided to contact customer service for some much needed help. The woman on the other line was so helpful. She helped me figure out which size of pantyhose would fit my wife and what style would be best suited for a romantic gift idea.

I chose the Levante Backseam Tights for my lovely wife and them sent straight away. My wife received the pantyhose in a few business days late. She could have not been happier when she opened them. I was finally out of the doghouse and the romance was back in our marriage.
